About this Case

Rekhi & Wolk, P.S., along with Ferraro Vega Employment Lawyers, Inc., filed a wage and hour class action lawsuit against Sun Pacific Energy, Inc. (“Sun Pacific”) for allegedly failing to pay all wages earned by non-exempt employees from February 28, 2021 to February 19, 2025. Sun Pacific has denied the claims. Plaintiffs’ most recent complaint and defendants’ answer are available for review below.

The parties have agreed to a class action settlement to resolve the disputed claims. Please review the settlement agreement below. The Class is defined as:

All current and former non-exempt employees who worked for Sun Pacific in Washington at any time from February 29, 2021, through February 19, 2025, as already identified by Sun Pacific.

Plaintiffs Linda Davis and Lillian Matanane have obtained preliminary Court approval of the settlement. Please see the Order below.

Notices are being sent out to Class Members. Below is a copy of the notice. The Response Deadline, to opt out or exclude, will also be provided in the notices being sent by mail. Please review the notice carefully. It contains important information that the Court has approved.

This case was filed in February 2024. The parties have agreed to the below settlement and are waiting for the Court’s approval. Notices are being sent and the Final Fairness Hearing will be held at 9:00 AM at Judge Tinker’s courtroom.
