About this Case
In 2017, Plaintiffs Kleeburg and Rupp Hauer, through Rekhi & Wolk, P.S., initiated a lawsuit against The
Willows Inn claiming that it failed to pay its non-supervisory employees’ wages for all hours worked and
provide adequate meal and rest breaks in violation of Washington State wage laws. Without the Willows Inn
admitting to liability, the parties settled these claims as a class action on behalf of non-salaried employees who
worked from July 2014 to December 2017. The Court approved the settlement in March 2021. To review the

In June 2021, employees who worked during and after the 2018 season, contacted Rekhi & Wolk to complain
of similar wage and hour issues. Two former employees agreed to become Plaintiffs and Class
Representatives, Ms. Olmos and Letchworth. The parties mediated the dispute and entered into a class action
settlement agreement, again without the Willows Inn admitting to any liability. The settlement agreement will
be reviewed by the Court to decide whether to approve it in the near future. To review the relevant documents,
