About this Case
On behalf of Plaintiffs and a Class of hourly employees, Rekhi & Wolk, P.S. and Hayward Law are pursuing a class action lawsuit against Defendants Phoenix Protective Corporation (PPC Solutions, Inc.), Jagrut Shah, and Sheila Leslie (“Defendants”). Plaintiffs allege PPC Solutions engaged in a systematic scheme of wage and hour abuse against hourly security guard employees in Washington. These violations include unlawful deductions, willfully failing to provide security guard employees with meal breaks to which they are entitled, and failure to pay for orientation and training.
The Court certified the following defined Class: All current and former employees of Defendants, who at any time from January 31, 2017 until August 8, 2023 worked as security guards for Defendants while based or residing in the State of Washington.
The Parties have agreed to a class action settlement to resolve the disputed claims. Plaintiffs have secured final approval for this settlement from the Court. You may see the Settlement Notice and other relevant documents below.
Plaintiffs have obtained email addresses and last known contact information for Class Members. If you worked for Defendants as an hourly paid security guard at any time between January 31, 2017 and August 8, 2023, but did not receive the emailed or postal mailed Settlement Notice, please contact us to confirm whether you qualify as a class member.

Case Status
This case was filed on January 31st, 2020. The Parties have agreed to a Class Action Settlement, approved by the Court on April 26, 2024.
