About this Case

The Plaintiff, former employee Monica Jimenez, claims that the owners of the Top to Bottom retails stores in Tacoma and at Southcenter Mall violated Washington State wage and hour laws by failing to pay for all hours worked and provide meal and rest breaks as required by Washington law. She seeks to represent a class of hourly paid employees who worked at these stores from September 2018 to April 2022. See the Complaint below for more information. Defendants deny all Plaintiff’s claims.

The parties have agreed to settle these claims, including the class claims, and will be presenting the class action settlement agreement to the Court soon for approval.
