About this Case

Rekhi & Wolk, P.S., along with Nolan Lim Law Firm, P.S., is pursuing a wage and hour class action against Defendants American Service Medicar Co. and Paratransit Services (“Defendants”) for allegedly failing to pay their driver employees for all hours worked. Defendants capped the wages paid to driver employees regardless of how many hours they worked. Drivers were also not paid overtime or for rest breaks. Overtime is considered time worked over 40 hours per week.

The proposed class is defined as all Washington residents who, at any time from September 26, 2013 through the date of final judgment, worked as driver employees for American Service Medicar Co. and Paratransit Services in Washington State.

Case Status

This case was filed on September 26, 2016. The Court granted Plaintiffs’ Motion for Class Certification on August 27, 2018.
