Rekhi & Wolk, P.S. and Defiance Law PLLC are pursuing a wage and hour class action lawsuit against Defendant Multicare Health System (“Multicare”) for allegedly failing to pay wages to employees who work as phlebotomists at Tacoma General Hospital. The allegations include that:

  • Multicare failed to provide proper meal and rest breaks, as required by law.
  • The alleged wage and hour violations were willful.

The class is defined as: All Washington citizens who, at any time from three years prior to the filing of this Complaint through the date of final judgment, worked for Defendant Multicare Health Systems at Tacoma General Hospital as phlebotomists, including but not limited to those in the Phlebotomy Lab department and/or in the Laboratory / Pathology job category.
